To indicate the era, there are vehicles in the background as well as the fashion of both the baseball players and who is presumably their coach. Also, while the coach is in formal attire, the baseball team wore formal pants and sweaters, except for one member who wears a buttoned-up shirt. This group photo may indicate either the formation of the Mexican-American baseball team or a form of victory celebration after winning a game.
