The first calendar page for RCMAHS September 2012 is black and white and "September" is written in both English in Spanish with the year at the bottom written on either side. A dedication to the Community Settlement Association and Jesse R. Ybarra takes up the rest of the page designed as an open travel notebook. The left page has a "The Community Settlement Association" travel tag, an image of Ybarra, and a written history of the Community settlement House and Ybarra's work in the association. The right page has an image of two men building and writing continued from the first page by Luana Ybarra Hernandez and Linda Salinas Thompson. The text begins with "The Community Settlement House celebrates the 100 year anniversary in September 2011." and ends with "We will always remember Mr. Ybarra and Mrs. Anderson for being such a big part of our lives and all the proper teaching skills brought forth to us by them."
