Description

January Calendar features a photo of Casa Blanca Depot and a Map of the Village of Casa Blanca. The calendar text below the picture of the Depot reads: "Santa Fe established its first tichet and telegraph office in Casa Blanca in the summer of 1890. The depot was built in 1897; picture taken in 1931. Photo courtesy of Alfred Garabito." The depot is made of wood, has three roof lines, covered porch entry, 3 glass ticket windows in the front center of building with the name "Casa Blanca" above the windows. In front of the building are rail tracks and a tall post with a windsock. The calendar text on the Map of the Village of Casa Blanca Reads: "Map of the Village of Casa Blanca in the City of Riverside San Bernardino County California (nonlegable word) the Southern Part of block 65 as surveyed by G.O Newman CE, CC Miller CE, Scale 100 feet to 1 inch, for S.E. Evans Jr. Proprietor. The photo of the map shows 75 property lots total on the following streets: Railroad Ave., Evans St., Puny St., Cary St., Samuel St., and Madison St.
