2009 Calendar page 13, Month of June
2009 Month of June Calendar. In the bottom left corner is a memorial dedication that reads: "We proudly dedicate in his honor to my Father, Dario Reyes Villegas, who proudly dedicated and served his God, Family, Community, and Country with honor. With Great Honor, John, Amanda (Villegas) Gullett & Family." with the memorial is a headshot photo of Dario Reyes in uniform wearing a garrison hat. In the bottom right corner is an advertisement that reads: "Taco Station 4088 Mission Inn Ave. Riverside, Ca. 92501 www.TacoStation.com, (951) 782-TACO:. With the advertisement is a logo for the business that is the shape of an official badge with "Taco Station" written on it. there is also a map that shows the 91 freeway crossing over the 60 freeway and 4 other city streets. The names of the city streets are not legible. Holidays on the calendar include Flag day, Sun. June 14th and Father's day, Sun. June 21st. -

2009 Calendar page 8, Frank Lozano Service Station and Auto Repair
April Calendar page features a black and white photo of Frank Lozano wearing coveralls and a hat while standing in front of his service station and auto repair shop. The service station is a drive through structure with a sign that says "Frank Lozano Service Station" , a sign that says "stop your motor - No Smoking" and there are two visible handcrank gas pumps behind Frank. In the background is the Auto Repair Shop with two dark colored open sided cars (possibly Model T) in front of the shop. Below the photo is a description that reads: "In the mid 1920's to the early 1930's, Frank Lozano, standing in front of his service station, was the first Mexican American in Riverside to own a Service Station and Auto Repair Shop. It was located on Park Avenue between Eleventh Street and Twelfth Street. Photo courtesy of Grandson and wife, Larry and Jenny Gil". -
2009 Calendar page 2, Casa Blanca Depot
January Calendar features a photo of Casa Blanca Depot and a Map of the Village of Casa Blanca. The calendar text below the picture of the Depot reads: "Santa Fe established its first tichet and telegraph office in Casa Blanca in the summer of 1890. The depot was built in 1897; picture taken in 1931. Photo courtesy of Alfred Garabito." The depot is made of wood, has three roof lines, covered porch entry, 3 glass ticket windows in the front center of building with the name "Casa Blanca" above the windows. In front of the building are rail tracks and a tall post with a windsock. The calendar text on the Map of the Village of Casa Blanca Reads: "Map of the Village of Casa Blanca in the City of Riverside San Bernardino County California (nonlegable word) the Southern Part of block 65 as surveyed by G.O Newman CE, CC Miller CE, Scale 100 feet to 1 inch, for S.E. Evans Jr. Proprietor. The photo of the map shows 75 property lots total on the following streets: Railroad Ave., Evans St., Puny St., Cary St., Samuel St., and Madison St. -

Ysmael Villegas Dedication
An image of a dedication to Ysmael Villegas for his service in the war that was used in the RCMAHS March 2010 calendar cover page. The top center of the image reads "Dedication," and underneath that is printed "His courage will always be an inspiration to all for he is our hometown hero, who left us so long ago." Below the text is an image of a medal of valor, which takes up about 2/3 of the entire image. -
