The left side of this black and white page lists RCMAHS executive board, which includes Linda Salinaz-Thompson, Ruby Diaz, Luana Hernandez, and Beverly Arias. This is followed by the RCMAHS committee members, which include Priscilla Acosta, Ruby Ceballas, Dennis Garcia, Dorothy Hernandez, and Phyllis Salinas. The bottom part of the calendar continues from the previous page for November 2012, with Dia de Los Muertos, Election Day, Veteran's Day, and Thanksgiving noted. The bottom left is a dedication to Johnny and Ramona Sotelo by their children with a photograph. 2012 calendar Page 22, November
The first page of the RCMAHS calendar for November 2012 is black and white, and "November" stated in both English and Spanish at the bottom with the year on either side. An image of the wedding day with snowflakes background takes up most of the page with the bride and groom in the center with guests (the wedding party) posing for the camera. The caption at the top reads "On November 1952, Johnny Carillo and Sally Soliz married at St. Francis de Assisi Catholic Church (Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church) with family members and friends." -

The bottom RCMAHS 2012 calendar page continues from the previous page for October 2012 with Columbus Day and Halloween noted. Bottom left is the dedication stating "In loving memory of Jesse R. 2012 Calendar Page 20, October
The RCMAHS calendar cover page for October 2012 is black and white and "October is written in both English and Spanish at the bottom of the page with the year on either side. An image of the Evans Brothers Packing House taken in 1948 takes up most of the page designed inside as an open travel notebook. There are three rows of workers, both men, and women wearing various types of clothing in front of a building with the caption at the bottom stating "Evans Bros. Riverside, California. Feb 26, 1948." The sign "Monte Vista Citrus Association" is in the top right of the photo. The front row and some of the second row are women, while the back rows are men. -

The April calendar page shows multiple holidays such as April Fool's Day as well as Palm Sunday on the 1st, Good Friday on the 6th, Passover on the 7th, Easter on the 8th, and Earth Day on the 22. At the bottom of the page are two ads. One is an advertisement is a political ad. The text states: "Melendrez for Mayor in 2012 At this critical economic time Riverside needs a Mayor who is an experienced and collaborative leader, willing to take on the task of building, preserving, and solving our City's problems. I am proud of my current leadership role. Serving the community has prepared me to be your Mayor in 2012." The other is an obituary. The text states: "In honor of Tony Campos Jr. (Blackie): Our memories and friendship of you will always be with us. Sonny, Linda, and Manuel." -

At the bottom of the page are two advertisements. One is for a local transcription service. 2011 Calendar page 28, Riverside County Mexican American Historical Society, Established 2006
The calendar end cover consists of every image used for every month. The bottom of the cover includes a detailed overview of the cover page by Linda Salinas-Thompson. The text reads, "This Calendar includes images of the history of Mexican American families living in the communities of Riverside County. Cover Photograph: "1928 Highgrove Baseball Team" Baseball was a wonderful pastime for many back in the day it gave the local men involvement in an enjoyable outing with their co-workers and friends. Teams were usually sponsored by the citrus growers/packing houses of the area where the team called home. This 1928 team was sponsored by the L.V. Brown Packing House, located in Highgrove. The name of the team was Mahula, named after an orange packed by the workers at the packing house. Team members consisted of (back row-standing left to right), Leonard Vasquez (Manager), Felix Calderaz, Santos Martinez and Pablo Calderaz, Men Kneeling (left to right), Luis Zamora, Thomas Hernandez, Jesus Elisarraraz, Leon Raya (holding baseball bats-left to right behind Leon Raya), Alfonso Martinez, Tacho Martinez, and (behind Juan Martinez). Trinidad Ceballos. Linda Salinas-Thompson". -
2011 Calendar page 26, Acknowledgements
The calendar page covers the Mission Statement for RCMAHS as well as its Advisory Board Members and Sponsors. Linda Salinas-Thompson writes a dedication to Philip Diaz Castro. The dedication states Mission Statement: Riverside County Mexican American Historical Society is dedicated to bringing our communities together through the preservation and sharing of historic photographs, stories, and artifacts that illustrate the local history of the Mexican American communities toward the unique history of the County of Riverside. RCMAHS ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS: Mary Figueroa. Elaine Kist, Ralph Nunez, Dvonne Pitrnzzelo, Kenny Sotelo, Sue Strickland, Gilbert Vasquez. PHILIP DIAZ CASTRO: We would like to acknowledge Philip for being a supporter and friend of RCMAHS. Philip was very helpful for the 86th Birthday Celebration of S'S Ysmael Villegas, held at Villegas, held at the Villegas Middle School on March 19, 2010, Through him, contact was made with his brothers Hames and TOny also Ed Medina and Andrew Melendrez Sr., very close friends of Smiley and Dario Villegas. Philip also furnished the names and addresses of WWII veterans who attended the event. It was a beautiful day, and everyone was so proud to be present to honor their friend, Smiley, at the school named in his honor. Thank you Philip for all your help and support in helping RCMAHS in honoring S'S Villegas. Philip passed away on May 25, 2010, at the age of 84 years. He was a lifetime resident of Riverside and a parishioner/volunteer at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. He served in the U.S> Army during WWII. He volunteered and supported the Disabled American Veterans, Goeske Center, Meals on Wheels, and other organizations. Philip was a happy positive person and was loved and honored by many. Known to his family and friends as CHITO, he will be missed by all; he left many happy memories for all to smile on and remember him by. Thank you Philip for your friendship and the wonderful support you gave RCMAHS. Linda Salias-Thompson". -
2011 Calendar Cover Page, Riverside County Mexican American Historical Society, 'Sharing Our History
A group portrait of a Mexican-American baseball team circa the 1930s. To indicate the era, there are vehicles in the background as well as the fashion of both the baseball players and who is presumably their coach. Also, while the coach is in formal attire, the baseball team wore formal pants and sweaters, except for one member who wears a buttoned-up shirt. This group photo may indicate either the formation of the Mexican-American baseball team or a form of victory celebration after winning a game. The page's text states, "Riverside County Mexican American Historical Society, 2011 Calendar: Sharing Our History". -
U.S. Soldier Event Meeting
This is a photo of a group ofl U.S. soldiers gathering at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Riverside, California in 1946. There is a large painting of Mt. Robidoux in the background, and two long tables are prepared with meals for all of the young Hispanic men in the photograph. Everyone is facing the cameraperson for the picture. -
Honoring Unknown Dead
This black and white image is of Lupe Nevarez (on the left) and an older U.S. soldier placing a reef on a memorial tomb stone. Both are wearing military uniforms and cap, with the older man's cap reading "Riverside No. 28 Calif." Nevarez's cap also has words on it, but it can't be seen fully in the photo. The engraving on the stone is faint. -

This is a black and white photo is of a U.S. soldier Lupe Nevarez standing in a park area. Neveraz is wearing a military uniform and hat, and he has his hands behind his back. He stands on a grassy area next to a sidewalk, while landscaped trees and plants, as well as a car, is in the background of the photo. -
Joe Zamora Posing With Medals
This portrait is of a Latin American U.S. soldier, presumably Joe Zamora, posing for a portrait while adorning his military garb and medals on the left side of his uniform. There are three medals on his left breast pocket and another medal below that row of medals. -
World War Two era wedding photo of Jesse Reyes Ybarra and Velia G. Ybarra
A wedding photograph of Jesse Reyes Ybarra and Velia G. Ybarra. They were married on July 3, 1942. Jesse was a PFC in the US Army Medic Corps during World War Two (from 1942-1945) and lived in San Antonio, Texas, as well as living in Riverside. Jesse died in 2007 and Velia died in 2003; both are buried at the Riverside National Cemetery. -

With the ad is a sketch of a matador with a cape and bull. This ad is a photo of a white tow truck with writing on the side of it that is not legible. Mourners at Funeral
A black and white photo from a funeral of a fallen serviceman. Image from the funeral that was used on the Riverside County Mexican American Historical Society 2010 calendar cover. Mourning family members/close friends are on either side of the casket, which is draped with an American flag. Flower arrangements sent in as tributes are placed all around the casket. -

2009 Month of March Calendar. In this advertisement there is sketch of a lemon holding a bottle drink in one hand and a plate with a taco in the other hand while wearing a sombrero. Alfredo and Tino are the Barbers. The photo of the advertisement shows a map of the intersection where Magnolia and Washington meet.
