In this advertisement there is sketch of a lemon holding a bottle drink in one hand and a plate with a taco in the other hand while wearing a sombrero. Holidays on the calendar include St. Patrick's day, March 17th.

On the rim of the circle it reads "Riverside Community College 1915". At the bottom right of the calendar is a memorial dedication that reads: "We proudly dedicate in his honor to my Father, Dari Reyes Villegas, who proudly dedicated and served his God, Family, Community, and Country with honor. With Great Honor, John, Amanda (Villegas) Gullett & Family". Next to the memorial is a headshot photo of Dario Reyes wearing a garisson cap with a patch on it above his left eye. Advertisement in bottom right corner reads: "Century Barbers and Stylist shop at 7106 Magnolia Ave. Riverside, California, Wednesday-Saturday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (951) 683-9550 Hair Styling, Conservative Cut, Beard Trimming, Flat Tops, Children's Hair Styles, Alfredo and Tino". Alfredo and Tino are the Barbers. The photo of the advertisement shows a map of the intersection where Magnolia and Washington meet. The holidays on the calendar include: New Years Day, Jan. 1st; and Martin Luther King Jr day, Monday Jan. 19th.

January Calendar features a photo of Casa Blanca Depot and a Map of the Village of Casa Blanca. The calendar text below the picture of the Depot reads: "Santa Fe established its first tichet and telegraph office in Casa Blanca in the summer of 1890. The depot was built in 1897; picture taken in 1931. Photo courtesy of Alfred Garabito." The depot is made of wood, has three roof lines, covered porch entry, 3 glass ticket windows in the front center of building with the name "Casa Blanca" above the windows. In front of the building are rail tracks and a tall post with a windsock. The calendar text on the Map of the Village of Casa Blanca Reads: "Map of the Village of Casa Blanca in the City of Riverside San Bernardino County California (nonlegable word) the Southern Part of block 65 as surveyed by G.O Newman CE, CC Miller CE, Scale 100 feet to 1 inch, for S.E. Evans Jr. Proprietor. The photo of the map shows 75 property lots total on the following streets: Railroad Ave., Evans St., Puny St., Cary St., Samuel St., and Madison St.

The back cover page for the 2009 calendar made by the Riverside County Mexican American Historical Society, which features the name of the society, the twelve photographs featured in the calendar, an attribution for the front page photograph, and an attribution to the graphic designer of the calendar, Bernasconi Graphic Design. The photographs date from the 1940s and feature buildings and group portraits. The price of the calendar is also displayed on the lower right hand corner as $10.

An end page featuring a message from the founders of the Riverside County Mexican American Historical Society, detailing the compilation of the calendar and the collection of photos and histories from members of the community. The message ends with goals for future activities within the community by the RCMAHS, including a yearly event during Hispanic heritage month and signed by Linda Salinas-Thompson and Rudy Soliz Diaz. A small notice for advertisements or memorials in future calendars follows. In the upper right hand corner, a picture featuring two rows of Latino men dressed in baseball uniforms against a background of people is placed with the inscription "Late 1940's 'Casa Blanca Aces' baseball team."

An end page detailing the mission statement of the Riverside County Mexican American Historical Society, as well as the names of of the RCMAHS Board and the Committee Members in one column. On the side, the quote "We need to preserve the history we helped build" is featured along with a wedding photograph of Jesse Reyes Ybarra and Velia G. Ybarra, and the inscription "In honor of Jesse R. and Velia G. Ybarra; July 3, 1942." Jesse was a PFC in the US Army Medic Corps during World War Two (from 1942-1945) and lived in San Antonio, Texas, as well as living in Riverside. Jesse died in 2007 and Velia died in 2003; both are buried at the Riverside National Cemetery.

Founded in 1845 this community was originally known as 'La Placita de los Trujillos' after its founder Lorenzo Trujillo, and was located on the east side of the Santa Ana River. It was later just referred to as 'La Placita.' The La Placita community along with the Agua Mansa community (located on the west side of the Santa Ana River) were the first non-Native settlements and had the first church and school.
